• Master Techs: To bring you the best service possible, REI has built a rigorous training and certification program for REI staff—our Master Tech program. Our technicians are trained at the Barnett Bicycle Institute in Colorado Springs. Such training ensures a high-level of standardized service that sets REI apart from your average bike shop.
• Tips & Advice: Always ready with friendly advice and tried-and-true tips, our cycle shop employees are avid cyclists with years of experience. They can get you the information you need to make informed buying decisions.
• Basic Tune-Up: Get your bike in shape for the upcoming season. Includes inspection, lubrication and precision adjustment of drivetrain, derailleur, steering, brake and wheel systems.
• Performance Tune-Up: Basic tune-up plus full drivetrain cleaning, wheel tensioning, dishing and radial truing, and minor frame cleaning. This is essential care for mountain bikes.
• Overhaul: Thorough inspection, disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, reassembly and adjustment of most major components including bearing systems.
• Performance Overhaul: Overhaul plus pedal overhaul, wheel tension balancing, frame and fork alignment, cleaning and waxing.
• Suspension System Services: Includes oil change, tuning and/or overhaul of both front and rear suspension systems. (Most manufacturers recommend this service every 100 hours of use.)
• Fit Service: At REI you can get your bike fitted before you buy. If you've already bought a bike, our fit service extends to you as well.
• Full Brake System Service: Inspection, lubrication and adjustment of brake system including lateral wheel truing.
• Full Drivetrain Service: Inspection, cleaning, lubrication and precision adjustment of drivetrain and derailleur systems.
• Complete Custom Wheel-Building: Spoke preparation, build, and balance spoke tension.
