Description: Cameras don't take pictures, people do. But cameras are not always easy to understand. Learn more about your camera and the feature of capturing Macro Images making wildflowers and ordinary subjects extraordinary. REI Outdoor School instructors and photographers will introduce techniques for up-close images demystify some camera functions. Learn the capability of the camera's features for this special capturing mode. General compositions will be highlighting when capturing macro images; eliminating distractions, use line and texture and the Rule of Thirds to create more dynamic images. Begin to see the benefits of using your camera's macro setting drawing the viewer's attention into a vibrant and stimulating photography. This course is designed for beginner digital and film photographers.

Learn the exposure techniques and composition tips needed to capture the minute details of macro (close-up) photography. Learn how to use settings on your camera to help with close up photos outdoors
