About Rossignol

Rossignol boasts a 100-year plus history of living for the mountain. In 1907, carpenter Abel Rossignol built his first pair of wood skis. In 1937 the World Championships were won on Rossignol skis. The skiing triumphs have continued ever since. Of the 10 gold medals won at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Alberta, six were on "Rossis."

Today, Rossignol designs and builds downhill and Nordic skis, boots and bindings, plus poles and snowboards. Rossignol clothing, like Rossignol mountain gear, exemplifies Rossignol's commitment to value, reliability, quality and style. Modern designs such as the autoturn technology in Rossignol rocker carving skis are built on a century of innovation, allowing skiers to ski better in all conditions almost instantly.

Through on-going research and development using testing and input from professional athletes, Rossignol continues to pursue their goal of being the most progressive brand in cold-weather mountain sports, while adding year-round sports to the Rossignol lifestyle.

At REI, you'll find top-rated and top-selling skis, boots and bindings, plus poles and snowboards from Rossignol, plus plenty of sale & clearance deals and bargains.
