About Electra

When Electra rolled onto the bike-building scene in 1993, they envisioned a cycling line for outdoor discovery and pure fun. By blending these laid-back recreational goals with ergonomic engineering, the California-based company had soon re-popularized cruiser bikes for men, women and kids.

Today, their cruiser bike designs still keep riders sitting upright for more comfortable riding and idling. Sturdy frames and balloon tires offer a smooth, stable ride. And since cycling is most fun when you feel in control, Electra adds rapid-fire trigger shifters to their gear-happy two-wheelers.
