HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR PHOTOS

Please e-mail all photos in JPEG (*.jpg) format.

  • Minimum width: 800 pixels
  • Or total file size: 1.5MB

Be sure to include with your photo(s):

  • Name of photographer
  • REI member number
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • E-mail address
  • Location of photo
  • Year photo was taken
  • Story behind the image

Limit two photos per mailing; one mailing per person.

Rules for Submission Thank you for considering sharing your photo with other REI Visa cardmembers. To be considered for publishing, please be aware of two requirements described below:

  • Permission to use your photo
  • Model Release form

Permission to use your photo: By submitting photos you agree photos cannot be returned and become the property of REI and may be used for promotional purposes. By submitting photos you also represent that (a) you own the rights to the photo you are submitting, and (b) you are the parent or legal guardian of any minor child who might be shown in your photo(s). You also agree that by sending us your photo you are giving us permission to use it without restriction and we may publish your photo in our quarterly newsletter, Trailhead News. (This agreement will be presented to you when you submit your photo(s) via the "Click to Submit Photos" button above.)

Model release form: Various state privacy laws prevent the publication of photos for commercial use without the consent of the person pictured therein. Since REI.com is a commercial website, we want you to be aware of this and if your photo is chosen, you and any person(s) in your photo will be required to sign a model release form.
