Apostle Islands Kayaking
The Apostle Islands, considered the jewels of Lake Superior, are a quintessential kayaking destination of the US. With eighty percent of the lakeshore being designated as federally protected wilderness, the Apostle Islands are ideally explored by water and offer something for everyone. From one of the largest and finest collection of lighthouses in the country to the splendid sea caves influenced by magnificent Lake Superior, this area is a wealth of cultural, historical and natural marvels. In addition, being sheltered from larger seas and surf of the outer islands, the Apostles create an ideal environment for the active beginner paddler. Join us for an ideal opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful regions of the country and experience the wonders of Lake Superior shorelines!
Important Notice: Day 1 is the day you should plan to arrive at the meeting point for the trip. This may require departing your hometown a day in advance.
