We had a great group that enjoyed each other's company. It was so relaxing that we lost track of the days, and hated to see it end. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was great!

- It was more than just rafting. Stars with Lars gave us a chance to explore astronomy, archaeology, geology, and more.

I loved this trip! The guides were great. The other travelers were a lot of fun and the camraderie was fantastic. I really enjoyed all the geothermal features around Old Faithful, the camp sites were great and the tents, kayaks and other equipment supplied was terrific. Our guides were great cooks, so the food was delicious and best of all, I planned none of it! The mountains were spectactular. I only wish there had been more hiking on the trip. Otherwise, it was just what I needed during a rough patch in life!

- Why did you choose this trip?:
- I was up for almost any trip, but this one left just when I needed to get out of town, was geared for solo travelers and went to a place I'd always wanted to see. Had to stay in the country since my passport had expired!
- What was the highlight of your trip?:
- There were so many! Great people, jumping off rocks into the lake, making a rough crossing or two, visiting Yellowstone, enjoying the outdoors with other solo travelers who were totally on board for adventure and a good time.
- What would be your advice to potential travelers?:
- Quick drying clothes and nice warm fleece were vital for me. You're going to get at least a little wet and having some warm dry clothes for evenings is perfect! Come prepared that the weather may not be what you'd like and feel tremendously fortunate when it is!

- So my family could experience Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. Also we traveled with OARS before and had a great time.

- Camping beneath the Grand Teton and kayaking in the mountains.

- Pack some warm clothes for the evening as it can get chile.
