If the status is:

  • Not Available—the item cannot currently be ordered online or backordered through REI.com. If you click "Place in Shopping Basket", the item will not appear in your Shopping Basket. This item may be available by Special Order, however. Please visit your local REI store or call 1-800-426-4840 for more information.
  • Available—the item can be ordered today and most orders will ship within 24-48 hours, Monday-Friday. Click "Place in Shopping Basket" to begin the checkout process with this item.
  • Out Of Stock—you can backorder an item that is currently "Out Of Stock" by checking the "Backorder?" column and making sure that "yes" is marked. Click "Place in Shopping Basket" to begin the checkout process with this item. You will not be charged for backordered items until they are shipped. Backordered items can be cancelled by calling 1-800-426-4840 or e-mailing orders@rei.com.

Please note:

Due to size and/or shape, car racks are not available for gift boxing. Hardshell boxes require a flat-rate shipping charge (in addition to standard shipping fees) and can only be shipped to addresses within the 48 contiguous United States.
