Comments about Camp Inn Hydr8r Hydration Pack - 100 oz. - '07 Closeout:
It's just hydration. On the plus side, the pack is simple to fill and easy to drink from. The 3-liter capacity is also handy and reduces the need to fill-up on longer rides. I also like the cooling effect of the water against my back.
On the down side, the harness and tube positioning are a bit too simple. I had to fuss with it for a couple of rides to figure out how to make the straps comfortable and put the tube where I could get to it. Also, when you close the valve (push-pull type) it leaves a drizzle of water in the bite section so when the tube points down, there is a sprinkle of water.
That all being said, I just ordered another one.

Comments about Camp Inn Hydr8r Hydration Pack - 100 oz. - '07 Closeout:
Enough volume for almost any day in the mtns, yet when broken down it weighs nearly nothing. Of course there's no frills; treat it like a bladder and stick it in your day pack when you've gotta carry more. I've got 1, I'm buying 2 more [$]as it's cheaper than a plain bladder, more durable and doubles as a simple water pack. It's a no-brainer.

Considering it's large volume but no extra pockets, one can use it either in combination with a waistpack or just use it on long solo runs on a good day where clothing etc won't need to be carried

this product is great by itself for short hikes, but can also be an extra bladder for a hydration pack. it lets the bladders dry out between uses. the bite valve is great, once it's opened. it has to be squeezed really hard to crack it open. i love it that i can be hands free and just sip as i hike, without stopping. i've already recommended it to a friend who loves it.
