Comments about C.A.M.P. USA 6-Point Steel Crampons - '07 Overstock:
I bought this and found no tools to adjust to the size. The strap is not easy to use or put on. It is heavy as simple crampons. I wanted use for snow field walk for my friend who is a beginner. I end up did not bring this and brought 4 points one I brought from Japan. I rather bring full 10 or 12 point crampons for glacier travel or 4 point easy put on light crampons for snow field walk. This is just between and do not do much. It need special tool to fix the wide for the boots and it was not easy. [...] I end up returned the item.

Comments about C.A.M.P. USA 6-Point Steel Crampons - '07 Overstock:
The grip from the crampon was decent; quite secure actually. I did not feel they were overly burdensome to adjust (a tool is included along with a tough carrying pouch) or hike with. They dig in well, and stay secure to my boots.
Remember, this is only an instep crampon. With significant incline and a stiff hiking boot, you will have only the toe of your boot for purchase. The crampon will not help you much, especially going up an incline.
