fit is similar to UnderArmour
I wear size medium UnderArmour compression shirts. This medium Polarmax shirt fits me almost exactly the same as UnderArmour. The Phase3 thermal shirt feels about half as thick and half as warm as UnderArmour cold gear compression shirts. I wear it as a cool weather base layer when hiking and biking. The stretch fabric does not bind or bunch up during active sports.
Small
Its supposed to fit tight, if thats what you're looking for get your normal size. I usually get med, but I found the sleeves fit tight right up into my armpits which was uncomfortable to work out in. I recommend getting one size up from your usual, the shirt itself is very good quality.
Fits very small
I usually wear a "small" in other lightweight/synthetic t/base-layer shirts... when I first opened up this product I thought I had been shipped a child's size. It's tiny. Returning for a Medium. I'd probably recommend buying a size up from what you normally purchase.
